We are a student-run venture capital fund that invests in high-potential, pre-seed, student startups in the smartest region of the world. Our goal is to bridge the knowledge and network gap between students and the more seasoned successful entrepreneurs.

We stimulate the startup ecosystem by supporting young entrepreneurs with 5K vouchers and convertible notes. We focus on technology-driven, scalable, early-phase startups.

We support the startup with mentoring from experts, international expansion paths, and student employees.

Voucher

The goal of the voucher is to provide a kickstart for high-potential teams that are just starting their entrepreneurial journey. That’s why the voucher doesn’t convert to equity, doesn’t need to be paid back, and doesn’t provide voting rights or other forms of official influence in the start-up.

The €5.000 voucher can be used for anything that accesses the growth and long-term value of the start-up.

And if you ever need a follow-up investment, Round One can provide it for you!

Convertible Note

The Convertible Loan Agreement (CLA) initially is a loan, instead of direct equity. When an equity event occurs, Round One gets the option to convert to a stake proportional to the capital invested, post-money, at dilution of founders, with a discount and valuation cap.

If no conversion occurs, the company repays the loan.
