Pre-Seed Investor

As a Pre-Seed Investor, you help run the full investment process: source promising startups, speak with founders, analyse business potential, conduct due diligence, gather expert input, and prepare investment proposals for the Investment Committee.
Dive deep into startup research and early-stage due diligence.
Assess the potential of innovative ideas, teams and markets.
Guide our investment decisions from first meeting to onboarding.
The board year requires a strong commitment. Our preference is a commitment of 0.8 FTE, but a 0.5 FTE commitment may also be considered for strong candidates.

Source, screen and meet early-stage student startups.
Conduct due diligence, startup analysis and financial projections.
Prepare investment proposals and present to the Investment Committee.
Negotiate deal terms and support the investment process.
Help grow dealflow, portfolio support, events, marketing and the founders community.

First Interview
You will have an introductory interview with a Round One team member.
This is our chance to get to know you, understand your motivation, and see whether the role is a strong fit.
Second Interview
If there is a match, you will be invited for a second interview with members of the investment team.
Here, we will dive deeper into your skills, interests, and how you could contribute as a Pre-Seed Investor.
Onboarding Phase
Everything checks out? Great! You will enter the onboarding phase and prepare for the start of the board year.
During this phase, you will get introduced to our investment process, team, portfolio, and way of working.
